Chloe Neville is a registered midwife and passionate childbirth Calmbirth educator!
“I began studying midwifery almost by accident, but I really believe now that it was meant for me all along. I am continually astonished by women – their innate abilities, their power and their triumphs as they grow, birth and nurture their babies.
“Learning about all of this has been, and still is, mind blowing for me, and it is one of my greatest joys as an educator to blow others’ minds as well with just how amazing they already are! I am passionate in my belief that every birthing couple deserves the opportunity to know and understand themselves and each other when it comes to birth. I have seen first hand just how much of a difference it makes to your experience as you grow your families.
“As such, I am incredibly excited to offer Calmbirth in my local community and to teach you and your partner how to understand, support and work with your birth experience, so that you can come out of it empowered and amazed.”
My name…Chloe Neville.
I work as…a midwife, and now as a Calmbirth Educator too!
My life in five words…faith, family, friends, books and travelling.
The best thing about where I live…the beautiful sunsets over the river.
What I do to relax when I’m not working…I love spending some time making my space at home beautiful (it can get a bit chaotic when I’ve been busy!) and then enjoying myself in it by putting on some music, reading or playing board games or cooking something new!
I can’t live without…love! And everything it brings. Love of family and friends, love of God, love for yourself and for others.
The person or traits I most admire is…my husband and his deep and genuine love of people, and making them feel respected, valued and cared for.
What I love most about being a Calmbirth educator...Seeing couples have their minds blown by how amazing their bodies are and how labour and birth really work.
The 3 essential things you need to take with you into labour are…people you trust, some preparation and knowledge, and some things to make the space feel yours (my personal favourites are music and fairy lights!)
My most memorable moment as a Calmbirth® educator…hearing the birth story of my first ever couple and realising the difference this course can make.
If I had to describe how seeing a baby being born makes me feel...Utterly indescribable. I feel complete awe every time, but it is also different for each birth. I often find myself mirroring the way the mother feels – ecstasy, relief, wonder, gratitude, powerful, joyous… It’s an experience like nothing else!
